- Plus – Ideas for things to do during Christmas time
- Ideas for reflection at the beginning of a new year
The majority of Bible studies appearing on here will be arranged as follows:
- Scripture reference
- Scripture text
- Reflection questions
The idea is to make them as simple as possible. I encourage you to base your answers to the reflection questions on the Scripture text given. Rather than picking and choosing other Bible verses, or quoting from other authors, try to concentrate on the text in question. It will help you to better learn the text. Often we overlook well-known Scripture passages because we have been given all the pre-packaged answers that we miss the fresh and personal revelation that can arise from a clear meditation on the Word of God.
So don’t rely on other answers, give it a go responding to the reflection questions based only on the given Scripture passage(s). And ask God to reveal to you what He wants you to learn!
