Do Unicorns exist, or have they ever existed?

Here’s the reader question of the day / week / month (whatever it happens to be)…

  1. Hello lovely!

All I can say is that they are mentioned in the KJV so they must be real.

    Eg: Psalms 92:10 KJV
But my horn shalt thou exalt like the horn of an unicorn: I shall be anointed with fresh oil.
(though in most other obviously corrupted versions unicorn is translated boringly into wild ox.)

There’s also the whole ‘narwhal conspiracy’ and the strange idea that maybe they were talking about a rhinoceros or dinosaur or some sort.

In short are they real? I don’t think so.(though it would be fun if they did…though possibly dangerous…)
    🙂 Rosie

PS will people really debate this?

  2. Hello!

hehe thanks for your contribution!! Well… so far no debate! 🙂 I like that you’ve managed to quote the Bible here! I know some have suggested that perhaps it was merely a form of antelope that looks kind of like a Unicorn. I think it’d be great if they’re real… sigh… Maybe in Narnia!

  3. I don’t think they existed in the past, and I don’t think they exist now. However, they may exist in the future! Who knows what could be accomplished with genetic engineering! A horse that grows a spiral horn? Easy enough for science!

  4. Hey random that’s hilarious! well done on providing one of the most unique responses I’ve heard. I wouldn’t have thought of that!!
