408. Winged Horse

June 25, 2010

Fineliner ink on paper, 26 October 2009.

It’s a horse, with wings. Yes, I draw a lot of these! Napoleon Dynamite makes a lot of sense to me. Now for a Liger…

  1. The Italians and French needed some of these to give them some pace for most of the World Cup.

    Russ;)

  2. haha oh funny!

  3. Thanks for stopping by my blog today!

I was scrolling down your blog and found this picture and it immediately reminded me of “Fledge” from The Chronicles of Narnia. I have just finished reading the last of the 7 books this weeks to my boys (I educate them at home), so I guess it’s still fresh in my mind!

    You are very talented. xo

  4. Thank you so much, Jo. Funnily enough, I re-read The Magician’s Nephew just last week! I love Fledge. 🙂

  5. I had never read any of The Chronicles of Narnia before this year, so they were all new to me. I loved them (and so did my boys!)

We were so excited that Fledge was in the last chapter of the “The Last Battle”.

We are going to miss all our friends in Narnia…..

  6. Yes! It’s quite a powerful conclusion to the stories. CS Lewis was a genius!
