fizzy musings

Fizzy Musings is the name I gave to my blog that was where I intended to post Bible Studies, and links to useful information for Christians about topics like apologetics (the branch of theology dealing with the reasoned defence of Christianity).

It became pretty tiring pretty quickly because, despite the encouraging words from the majority of Christians who were somehow impacted by the Bible notes I posted there, I also encountered a lot of complaints from various groups of people… there were the committed non-Christians who were very vocal in asking how I dared to post Bible-based blogs! Interesting, because I guess I didn’t expect non-Christians to spend that much time leaving abusive comments on blogs for Christians. Hmm… well, that’s free speech* for you (that same freedom of speech being my freedom to express my Christian-ness!).

I also received negative comments from “Christians” who like to abuse people – it must be ok if you add a “God bless” to the end of your comment. Sigh!

The funny thing is, I wanted it to be a friendly blog. In real life I’m also a generally friendly person, and enjoy meeting new people. Turns out that wasn’t the case with the original fizzy musings!

*In my particular state, laws require that different religious perspectives do not engage in any sort of debate that may make one perspective sound less good than another.

Keep doing what you are doing..you are touching others and I am sure the ripple effect is bigger then we can realize. God must be smiling upon your work!
